The River Terrace at Somerset House
Enjoy an exclusive opportunity for alfresco dining at Somerset House this Summer.
Somerset House is delighted to announce a new exclusive opportunity for alfresco entertaining this summer. For a limited number of evenings, The River Terrace can be hired for corporate entertaining or private parties, providing guests with fantastic views of the building's 18 century façade and across the Thames to the South Bank.
Guests arrive at the Strand entrance of Somerset House and walk across the stunning Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court to The Seamen's Hall which can be used as a grand meet and greet area for The River Terrace and also offers an elegant indoor space if needed due to the unpredictable British weather!
Included in the facility fee are four giant colonial umbrellas which will be set out on the Terrace itself. In addition the Events team will be able to advise and bring together all the elements for your bespoke event in conjunction with our accredited event suppliers.
The River Terrace is available for evening hire for up to 500 guests for a reception. Please contact us for more details.
