BMI opens new lounge at Heathrow
BMI has opened a new international lounge for passengers flying through Heathrow’s Terminal 1.
The lounge, called BMI Number One Heathrow, was unveiled earlier this month, following five months of work, and is located on the first floor above gate 5.
The facility is divided into ‘ informal zones’, including The Study, a work area with a boardroom style table and free Wi-Fi, The Café, centred around a custom-made Aga, and The Local, a sophisticated British style pub.
From July 1st, the lounge will also offer a dining-on-the-ground evening meal service for those wishing to sleep during their flight.
The lounge is open to BMI Business class, Diamond Club members, both Gold and Silver, and Star Alliance Gold customers travelling to BMI international destinations.
