Indigo Hotels expand in London
London will get three more Indigo hotels, InterContinental’s boutique brand, by 2012.
In addition to the recently opened Hotel Indigo London Paddington, there will be two new properties in the City of London - a 38-room townhouse conversion on Cannon Street and a 43-room hotel on Philpot Lane - and a 51-room hotel on Kensington Church Street.
The Hotel Indigo London Paddington is a conversion of nine converted Georgian townhouses in London Street, just outside Paddington Station. It combines the feel of a boutique hotel with the benefits of a large hotel group.
Preferred equally by business executives and leisure guests, the Hotel Indigo London-Paddington is close to Oxford Street shops and Selfridge’s, beautiful Hyde Park and Notting Hill areas. It is easy to reach the City, West End theatres or the famous galleries and museums from Paddington Station.
It is the first Indigo to open outside North America, where there are already 21 properties.
