Manchester airport goes green
Recycling initiative launched for passengers travelling through the airport
Manchester Airport has created Recycle Zone, to enable its 20 million passengers to recycle their plastic bottles and paper, while on the move through the building.
In connection with Coca-Cola Enterprises and the Waste and Resources Action Programme, the airport has placed 125 bins in the terminals and at departure gates to collect the million plastic bottles and paper waste at the point of consumption.
