Passport price increase
The cost of a standard passport to rise by £5.50 from this September.
The fee for a standard ten year adult passport will rise from £72 to £77.50 from September 3, with a £3 rise for a child’s passport, bringing the cost to £49. This is the first fee rise since 2007, although it does mean that the fee has risen by over a third since October 2006. The rise is subject to final approval by the Privy Council.
