Terminal 2 closing while Terminal 5 comes alive with Festive spirit!
Regular readers and frequent travellers will be aware that terminal changes have recently been taking place at Heathrow.
The last week of November saw the closure of the airport's Terminal 2, as work on its £1 billion replacement gets underway.
Passengers checked in to Terminal 2 for the last time as, after 54 years of service, the building closed to make way for a stunning new development.

Meanwhile, in Terminal 5, BAA has unveiled what it is calling the world’s largest sprig of mistletoe, a ten-foot tall structure hanging above passengers in the building.
The metal sprig is suspended three metres above the ground in the terminal’s international arrivals area, ready to welcome reunited lovers over the festive period. The structure weighs 43kg and includes more than 50 feet of steel tubing and 25 stainless steel balls. BAA is also installing giant mistletoe in its other Heathrow terminals, and hopes that they will attract over two million kisses over the next month.
Happy Christmas from Heathrow !
