Liverpool passengers to benefit from increased services
Flybe fly into Kent
Low cost airline Flybe have announced a new route between Scotland and our home county , Kent.
Operating between 27th May and 29th October, the airline will fly between Edinburgh and Manston Airport, close to the Thanet coast. The service will be operated by De Havilland Dash 8 aircraft.
On Saturdays the service will depart from Edinburgh at 1450 arriving Manston 1620. The return on Saturdays will depart at 1645 arriving Edinburgh at 1815.
On all other days of the week, the service will depart Edinburgh at 1050 arriving Manston at 1220, departing in the opposite direction at 1245 from Manston arriving Edinburgh 1415.

New services from Wizz Air
Hungarian no-frills airline Wizz Air is to launch a new route from Belgrade to Luton, together with flights from Riga to Luton and from Wroclaw to Cork and Doncaster / Sheffield.
The airline will start the three times weekly route between Luton and Belgrade on July 24th.
Ahead of this launch, Wizz Air will start flights from Doncaster/Sheffield to Wroclaw on March 12th, and from Cork on March 14th.
Gulf Air launches new cabin
Middle eastern airline Gulf Air is to launch a new premium cabin called Falcon Gold on March 1, combining the services of Gulf Air's first class with the price of a business class fare.
The Falcon Gold product will, from the end of next year, eventually offer a brand new fully-flat bed product within one cabin on routes over 4.5 hours. Meanwhile, the new cabin's passengers will be seated in either the airline's existing first or business class seating, depending on the flexibility of ticket purchased.
All Falcon Gold passengers will also benefit from Gulf Air’s onboard Sky Chef service , previously only available in First class, in addition to priority check-in, lounge access, 40kg of baggage allowance, and bonus Frequent Flyer miles. Gulf Air’s flagship lounge at Bahrain International airport is also to get a revamp, with the addition of “The Dining Room” for pre-flight dining.
Liverpool passengers to benefit from increased services
Dutch airline KLM is to add a fourth daily flight from Liverpool John Lennon airport to Amsterdam Schiphol, while also revising its existing timetables to increase connectivity to onward long haul services.
The carrier currently has flights from Liverpool three times a day, and will now add a 4th service from May 10.
