Medway Travel hosts Macmillan coffee morning

On Friday 25th September , Medway Travel, for the first time, hosted a Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning. I have to say morning is a misnomer since we opened our doors at 10.00 am  and closed at 2pm!

 We had a steady stream of visitors, including friends, colleagues, local clients and neighbours. Guests were offered a variety of drinks and a vast array of homemade cakes and goodies that the staff had thoughtfully prepared. Everyone contributed to the day, providing all the little essentials that made for a really enjoyable event.

The ' World's Biggest Coffee Morning' is an annual event and we had such a wonderful time this year that we are considering holding another event soon, so watch this space!

It was also a wonderful opportunity for our team to meet some of our regular clients in a social environment, albeit some of our visitors did raise the occasional travel related topic - whether about their corporate travel or about their personal holiday possibilities. We, of course, were well able to assemble the experts to give them very authoritative advice!

It just leaves me to say a huge THANK YOU to all our guests for coming along and donating so marvellously, to the staff for giving up their time and cooking skills, and finally to everyone's generosity of spirit and kindness on the day.
