Incentive Weekends in Luton

Below, we have provided sample itineraries and event suggestions that we have created for other clients, which may help to inspire you and give you a flavour of how our Groups and Events team can assist you, to ensure you have a FANTASTIC event.
Please bear in mind that these are just examples that we have experience of - whatever destination you choose for your next event, our Groups and Events team will be delighted to tailor a conference, meeting, exhibition or team building break to your exact requirements to any destination worldwide.
Luton Hoo
Set in more than 1,000 acres of parkland and gardens, Luton Hoo is a luxury five-star hotel with 18 hole golf course and spa.
Luton Hoo is just ten minutes drive from Luton Airport and 40 minutes from Heathrow. Road and rail links are also excellent – less than a mile from junction 10 off the M1 and five minutes from Luton Parkway station, where there’s a frequent 30-minute service into the city of London.
For a creative incentive weekend, look no further than Luton Hoo Golf and Spa. For delegates and their partners, we propose a programme similar to that detailed on the Itinerary tab, but we will tailor-make an incentive weekend to meet your exact requirements.
Example Itinerary
Day One
Private group check-in will be arranged in one of the delightful rooms, to allow for speed of registration.
Once you are settled into your accommodations, take a Traditional Afternoon Tea in the Drawing Room, overlooking the formal gardens and rolling countryside.
You will have time to spend enjoying the splendour of the 1,000 acres of parkland and gardens, play a game of tennis on either the clay or grass courts, a game of croquet on the stunning lawn overlooking the lake, or just ramble around the delightful countryside and woods.
Later this evening, make your way to the beautiful terraces or one of the stunning lounges for a Champagne and Canape reception.
Dinner can be served in either a private dining room within the Mansion House, or we can arrange more of an informal affair in the Adams Brasserie. Half a bottle of house wine and half a bottle of water will be included in your dinner price.
Entertainment ideas for the evening include:
- World Wines - a wine tasting master class followed by a competition
- A talk by a high profile local person, e.g. 'In Conversation with ... Jean Christoph Novelli'
- Beat the Clock - an excellent opportunity to get everyone in a light hearted mood
Day Two
Full English breakfast will be served in one of the excellent restaurants.
Delegates
Morning meeting in one of the conference rooms inclusive of flipchart, pads, pens, cordials and water. Morning Coffee Break will include a selection of home baked snacks.
Partners
For the partners of the delegates, the activities available at Luton Hoo are numerous. Choose to pamper yourself with a treatment from the range of Spa Treatments of just relax in the Vitality Pool and Relaxation Suite. Play 18 holes of Golf or simply play a ‘Bucket of Balls’ on the Driving Range. If you are interested in the history of Luton Hoo, a History Tour of the Mansion House can be arranged with the Resident Historian Zena Dickinson.
Afternoon Team Building
There are many team building activities that can be arranged, for example It’s a Knockout - Teams take part in a variety of fun challenges in the classic Royal Tournament style. This event is a whole barrel of laughs and always brings out the fun in people.
We are careful to select safe activities to ensure that all sorts of people can join in and enjoy the fun because it’s not just about the survival of the fittest!
After the afternoon fun, make your way to the beautiful terraces, or one of the stunning lounges for a Champagne and Canapé Reception to start your evening.
For tonight's dinner with movie quiz, teams will immerse in the glitz and glamour of the movie world. The quiz will combine a mixture of questions, film/audio clips and hands-on rounds to energise participants.
The evening will include a half bottle of house wine, liqueur and coffee (served in a private room). Flower arrangements will finish off the tables, and menu cards with your company's logo will be provided.
Day Three
Your last day will begin with a Full English breakfast served in one of the fantastic restaurants.
Optional morning activities include:
- Blindfold 4 x 4 - the driver is blindfolded and given his or her instruction by other members of the group, who are sat in the vehicle; they attempt to guide the driver around a series of obstacles without picking up any penalty points.
- Photo Trekking - improve your photography with a tutorial. The different areas of the estate provide the perfect canvas for putting your new skills in practice.
A buffet or packed lunch will be provided before you depart on your way home.
