Augustine's restaurant is tucked away just outside the city’s walls, yet only five minutes walk from the town centre and close to the historic monument of St. Augustine’s abbey from which it derives its name.

The restaurant and bar occupies three rooms of an elegant Georgian house and has been recently refurbished to create an eclectic mix of period and modern, chic yet cosy.

 

The main restaurant, seating just twenty people, provides the perfect setting for intimate dining, a relaxing evening with friends or for entertaining business colleagues.

Superb food is painstakingly prepared by our chefs, using the best local or organic ingredients and served to you by discreet but attentive staff.

A second dining room on the first floor is available to use as a meeting room or for private dining for up to 18 people.

There is the capacity to accommodate 3000 delegates at any one time, with 270 en-suite bedrooms in easter vacation and 600 in summer vacation and an attractive village of purpose-built houses. In each of the four colleges the majority of rooms offer classic student accommodation - a study bedroom with hand basin, and adjacent shower/bathroom and toilet facilities. No more than six to eight bedrooms share these adjacent facilities and offer a most cost-effective solution to your needs.

Recently refurbished to a high standard, the Darwin Conference Suite is one of the most flexible meeting and function suites in the region.
