The following illustration of a holiday to La Residencia is just an example of the numerous European Escapes that we can arrange for you. It is not intended to provide the details for a specific booking, since our aim is to create a holiday tailored to your particular wishes.
Introduction
Set in Mediterranean gardens, this traditional Mallorcan country house combines informal elegance with romantic seclusion.
La Residencia consists of two lovingly restored manor houses from the 16th and 17th centuries, furnished with Spanish antiques, local fabrics and a wealth of local art.
The eight spectacular Tramuntana suites offer a hillside location with the most stunning panoramic views toward the sea. Each suite is tastefully decorated in local Mallorcan style, with a fireplace in the lounge area and private terraces planted with local flora.
Other hotel suites are decorated in calm, natural tones, with four-poster beds and shuttered windows; some having terraces with swimming pools or smaller plunge pools. The romantic Tower Suite provides 360-degree views of mountain, sea and village. Privacy is paramount throughout. The property has an award-winning spa with indoor pool, beauty salon, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room and six treatment rooms, four with outdoor massage areas.
La Residencia boasts a Steinway piano dating from 1887, and an art gallery where exhibitions run throughout the entire year offering guests an insight into local art.

Overview
Accommodation
The rooms are individually furnished and decorated in traditional Mallorcan style. Calm natural tones, crisp white bed linen and curtains that float in the breeze, simple yet elegant, with all the comfort and extras you expect and more. The wooden shuttered windows overlook the lush landscaped gardens, which provide fresh herbs and olive oil for the kitchen, fruits for the homemade morning marmalades and fresh flowers for the rooms.
Based a few minutes’ walk from the hotel, The Villa is a deluxe self-catering accommodation overlooking the village of Dei and offering stunning views towards the Mediterranean. Formally a private residence, The Villa is built on three levels and has three double bedrooms and one single bedroom.
Eight Tramuntana Suites are available, with stunning views due to their elevated hillside position. Set above the Spa, each suite nestles into the mountainside, offering panoramic vistas over the valley and towards the Mediterranean. The suites have a traditional tiled garden area, with a private plunge pool. The gardens have been planted with flora endemic to the Tramuntana area. Access to the Tramuntana suites is made easy thanks to two lifts which have been cleverly integrated into the stone terraces with elegant tunnelled passageways linking each one.
Restaurants and Bars
During the summer there are several restaurants for you to choose from.
El Olivo is the gourmet restaurant open for lunch and dinner. As soon as the weather permits, you can dine alfresco on the terrace overlooking the village. Son Fony is the casual restaurant located by the pool offering Mediterranean cuisine using local products.
The pool bar and beach bar Lluc Alcari are only open during the summer season, from May until October, weather permitting.
Recreation
Many guests are reluctant to leave La Residencia and its choice of swimming pools mean that simply relaxing and watching the day go by is a memorable experience. There are one indoor and two outdoor swimming pools, with three of the luxury suites also having totally private pools surrounded by a terrace and gardens.
The area around the hotel offers the island's best walking - follow old paved mule tracks as they wind through wooden valleys, between terraces of olive and citrus groves, and high above the coast, while golfers can take advantage of Mallorca's 18 golf courses the closest being 15 minutes drive from the hotel.
La Residencia has two floodlit tennis courts surrounded by the spectacular Tramontana Mountains overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
At regular intervals, classical music concerts are also held in La Residencia, as the hotel boasts possession of a very special and unique Steinway piano dating from 1887.
Spa
The Spa at La Residencia has an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, gym and six treatment rooms, four with outdoor massage areas.
The carefully chosen treatments which cater to both men and women will help to relax and soothe every part of the body. Seven resident beauty therapists will be happy to discuss a treatment plan with you.
7 nights from £1,300pp, including accommodation in a Classic Double Room, breakfast, private transfers and flights from Gatwick with British Airways.

The island enjoys a temperate, Mediterranean climate. The maximum temperatures are not excessive, even in high summer, owing to the cooling influence of the sea. The climate during the winter is generally mild and dry with occasional showers. The shoulder seasons (April-May and September-October) are generally perfect to get the best of the weather and to avoid the crowds.
