The east coast of the US is preparing for the arrival of Hurricane Michael, which is expected to reach Florida in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Experts have warned the storm may intensify as it travels over the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and could potentially produce winds of 110mph later today, Tuesday 9th October.
Most airports are expected to operate as usual during Tuesday morning. However, Tallahassee International Airport has warned cancellations may be expected as early as Tuesday afternoon.
